Intelligent information systems, engineered.

Geyser IIS builds software for systems under pressure: high-scale distributed backends, multi-agent AI infrastructure, and delivery pipelines where AI does real work.

Engineering since 2011 Kotlin / JVM core Distributed & AI systems

Capabilities

What Geyser IIS builds

One practice, five disciplines, each shaped by years of production work in environments where downtime or data loss gets expensive fast.

BACKEND

Distributed systems at scale

Event-driven Kotlin and Java services designed for throughput, failure, and change. Built with the habits of long-running production systems: tests first, good observability, clean seams.

AGENTS

Multi-agent AI infrastructure

Agentic systems that do dependable work: orchestration, tool use, evaluation, and the plumbing that keeps LLM-driven software honest once it reaches production.

DELIVERY

AI in the SDLC

Delivery pipelines where AI is a working member of the team: coding agents, automated review, generated tests, all applied with engineering judgment rather than hype.

CLOUD

Cloud & serverless

AWS and GCP architectures, serverless compute, and infrastructure as code with Terraform. Systems that scale with load, and bills that don't.

DATA

Data platforms & APIs

Data-as-a-product APIs, warehouse models on BigQuery, and analytics pipelines that turn operational exhaust into decisions people actually make.

Approach

How the work gets done

Discipline is the feature

Test-driven development, pairing-honed habits, clean code. Quality is not a phase tacked on at the end of a project. It is how every line gets written in the first place.

AI-augmented, engineering-led

AI multiplies a strong engineering process. It does not replace one. Knowing when to trust the machine, and when not to, is the actual skill.

Built to hand over

Documented, tested, legible systems, designed so any competent team can run them confidently long after the engagement ends.

Experience

Fifteen years under pressure

Geyser IIS is a new company built on more than fifteen years of engineering inside some of the most demanding production environments in the US, UK, and Europe.

Satellite broadcasting & automotive

Nationwide audio infrastructure and in-car platforms serving millions of vehicles.

Healthtech & telemedicine

Clinical platforms where reliability is a safety property, not a metric.

Scientific publishing

Editorial and publication data platforms; data-as-a-product APIs for internal and external consumers.

Government digital services

Citizen-scale systems for a national tax authority.

Retail & e-commerce

High-traffic commerce platforms for household-name retailers.

Media & broadcasting

Streaming and broadcast services built for audiences of millions.

Sports trading

Real-time trading and odds platforms in tightly regulated markets.

The name

Why “Geyser”?

Geyser IIS is registered in Wyoming, geyser country. A geyser is deep reserve under sustained pressure, with a release you can set your watch to. That's the standard software should be held to: predictable, powerful, drawn from depth.

IIS stands for intelligent information systems: software that understands and acts on the information it carries, instead of just storing it. A distributed backend gives a system its scale. Well-engineered AI gives it judgment. Geyser IIS builds both.
